Our story
Made for Rex. Shared with the pack.
Rex Bites started in Michelle Mitchell's kitchen with one very good boy: Rex, our Great Dane. Michelle wanted Rex to eat as healthy as the rest of the family, and the treats on store shelves came with ingredient lists longer than the bag. So she started making her own.
Every Rex Bites treat is a single ingredient, freeze-dried to lock in the nutrients of the raw food. There are no additives and no preservatives, so the label is one word long. Freeze-drying also keeps the treats shelf-stable for a long time, so a bag is always ready in the pantry, the car or the beach bag.
They're made for dogs and cats alike, so you can feel good about every reward. Rex still taste-tests every batch.

FAQ
What does single ingredient mean?
Each treat is one food and nothing else. A bag of chicken hearts contains chicken hearts, with no additives or preservatives.
Are Rex Bites treats for dogs or cats?
Both. Every treat in the shop is suitable for dogs and cats.
Why freeze-dried?
Freeze-drying removes the water at low temperature, so the treat keeps the nutrients of the raw ingredient and stays shelf-stable without preservatives.
